Stephen Mougin's receives IBMA nod as top #5 2020 Sound Engineer!

So happy for Stephen Mougin who has been nominated as one of the top #5 Sound Engineers for 2020 by the IBMA.

Rock Hearts was thrilled to record our debut project with Stephen at Dark Shadow Studio in Tennessee back in the fall.

Stephen, along with wife, Jana and son, Sammy, are wonderful people to boot and their studio, Dark Shadow Studio, is the ultimate in professionalism, attention to detail, hospitality, and creativity. Having Ned Luberecki as the producer was pretty amazing as well.

Congrats Stephen...much deserved!!

Stephen Mougin is passionate on what he does. Sound Engineering is not really a famous job, but definitely one of the most complicated jobs I have ever heard. If you have the ears and perseverance to succeed on this field, then ,you must be utmost passionate towards it! The nomination was really a huge honor, and I also believe that he deserves to win and bag the award!
